DUJUAN THOMAS FOR PADUCAH — 2026
Dujuan Thomas is a dedicated public servant and proven leader committed to being a strong, consistent voice for the people of Paducah. First elected to the Paducah City Commission on November 5, 2024, Dujuan has spent his term focused on transparency, infrastructure, and community-driven solutions.
Raised by his grandmother on Paducah’s Northside, Dujuan witnessed firsthand how long-ignored neighborhoods were impacted by cracked roads, aging infrastructure, and limited investment. Those early experiences shaped his belief that leadership should be rooted in lived experience, accountability, and real results—not empty promises.
Dujuan’s campaign is built on listening to residents, addressing long-standing issues, and ensuring every neighborhood has a seat at the table. As a commissioner, he has worked to bridge the gap between local government and the citizens it serves, while advocating for responsible investment in infrastructure, housing, and community development.
In Dujuan’s own words:

It’s about fixing our roads, protecting our neighborhoods from flooding, and making sure every resident feels seen, heard, and valued. 2026 CAMPAIGN PRIORITIES
Strengthening transparency and accountability in local government
Advancing long-term solutions to flooding, stormwater, and sewer infrastructure
Expanding affordable housing options, particularly for seniors and single-parent families
Repairing roads and sidewalks in overlooked neighborhoods
Expanding access to community education, including financial literacy and homeownership
Continuing advocacy for veterans and residents experiencing homelessness
