
Dujuan Thomas is a lifelong Paducah resident, businessman, media professional, and elected official currently serving as a Paducah City Commissioner. In November 2024, he made history as the youngest elected city commissioner in Paducah and one of the youngest elected city commissioners in Kentucky at 26.
Since taking office, Dujuan has focused on being present, accessible, and transparent while working on issues that directly impact quality of life in Paducah. His work on the Commission has included standing against a property tax increase, advocating for greater transparency at City Hall, supporting local schools and nonprofits, backing the Southside Revitalization Plan, and advocating for affordable housing and our youth.
Dujuan graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School and attended the University of Louisville before earning his Master of Legal Studies degree from American University Washington College of Law, with a focus on U.S. government legislation. He also served honorably in the Army National Guard.
Prior to public office, Dujuan held multiple supervisory and leadership roles, managing teams and operations across a range of organizations. He also serves on several boards of local nonprofits, supporting initiatives that strengthen the community and empower others. In addition, he created and hosted Dujuan Thomas Live, a television and digital talk show highlighting local voices and national figures.
Dujuan attributes his accomplishments to his upbringing and his faith in Christ. He remains committed to personal growth and leadership, using his experience to inspire others to pursue their goals and make a positive impact in their communities.
